Wyalkatchem Travellers Park is a caravan and RV park in the town of Wyalkatchem, in WA’s Central Wheatbelt, about two hours’ drive from Perth on the Wheatbelt Way Trail Drive.

Our Facilities
The park offers 8 ensuite caravan sites each with their own individual ensuite, plus 14 powered sites and 10 camp sites with access to an ablution block containing 3 ensuite-style units (shower and toilet in each), one of which is wheelchair accessible. Sites are large and easy to access, making the park RV-friendly even for the biggest rigs, with most sites drive-through. There’s also a laundry, camp kitchen, free electric BBQ, and a dump station. The park is pet-friendly if you’re in your own RV or caravan, though this doesn’t extend to the on-site accommodation. History
After being closed for several years, the park officially reopened on 8 April 2022, now run by hosts who describe it as “the friendliest little RV park in Australia.

The town itself
Wyalkatchem is worth exploring beyond the park too. There’s a Water Wise Garden beside colourful murals depicting town life in the early 1900s, and nearby Korrelocking Reserve and Yorkakine Rock offer picturesque picnic spots that are especially striking after good winter rains bring out wildflowers and orchids. The region is also popular with hang gliding enthusiasts, who’ve reached heights of up to 3,500 metres and flown hundreds of kilometres — worth timing a visit for January or February to catch the WA State Hang Gliding Championships.
