As the sun slowly poked it’s head over the horizon, the Wyalkatchem Travellers Park began to awaken.

Following last night’s extended Happy Hour, guests gradually awoke to the enticing aroma of pancakes and hot cross buns.

Guests slowley made their way to the Kevin Jones Camp Kitchen, where they were welcomed by the inviting aroma of fresh coffee and tea

The coffee quickly awakened the guests, prompting them to fill their plates with pancakes and hot cross buns, accompanied by homemade apricot jam, cream, and local wildflower honey.

With their bellies full and a desire for some vigorous exercise, the guests embarked on the Easter Egg Hunt.

Following Happy Hour the previous evening, several adult guests assisted in hiding multicolored plastic eggs for the children to discover in the morning.

It’s hard to say who enjoyed it more—the giggling adults attempting to hide eggs in the dark or the gleeful kids sprinting around in search of them.

Firstly, the children were given clear instructions to find only four eggs each. Once all the children had collected their four eggs, they were to return to the camp kitchen together as a group.

The children each received a bag of Easter eggs. Following this, the adults began their egg hunt, with the same instructions provided to them.

Those not participating in the egg hunt were in fits of laughter as the adults frantically tried to recall where they had hidden the eggs the previous night. Adding to the hilarity, the children stood aside, shouting directions to the adults about the egg locations.

After a while, all the eggs were found, and everyone leisurely made their way back to their home away from home.

The afternoon at Wyalkatchem Travellers Park was tranquil as guests ventured out to explore local attractions, enjoy coffee at the Wyalkatchem Garden Cafe, or visit the CBH Museum

With their chocolate-fueled energy spent, the guests prepared themselves for Happy Hour.

Happy Hour was an absolute success, with new guests arriving and immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere. They delighted in the tantalizing aromas and flavors of the mouth-watering nibbles, creating unforgettable moments of joy and camaraderie.

Once again, the fire pit was ignited, drawing everyone closer to bask in its warmth.

The children began to feel sleepy, but as the fire angels appeared, their energy was magically restored, filling them with excitement and vitality once more.

As the night progressed, everyone eventually retired to their beds after an enjoyable and eventful day.
