Slow down. Stay longer. Discover more.

Most travellers pass through the Wheatbelt on their way to somewhere else. Those who stop soon discover one of Western Australia’s most authentic regions—welcoming communities, spectacular rural landscapes, heritage towns, endless horizons and some of the friendliest people you’ll meet.

At the centre of it all is Wyalkatchem Travellers Park, an ideal base for exploring the Central Wheatbelt before gathering with fellow travellers at Firepit Fridays.

Why Base Yourself in Wyalkatchem?

Instead of moving your caravan, camper, motorhome or big rig every day, set up once and enjoy comfortable day trips in every direction.

You’ll return each afternoon to spacious sites, country hospitality and, every Friday from 5:00–6:00 pm (during the fire season only), Firepit Fridays. Bring your own snacks and favourite beverages. We’ll supply the warmth.

Firepit Fridays

There is something timeless about sitting around a campfire.

Stories are shared. Friendships begin. Travel tips are exchanged. Laughter comes easily.

Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or with friends, Firepit Fridays are designed to bring travellers together during the park’s Happy Hour.

No organised entertainment. No pressure. Just genuine country hospitality.
